FORENSIC AUDIO VIDEO FEE SCHEDULE

The initial contact and discussion with you is free and is required for me to start any process. From this discussion I will determine primary needs, first steps to take, most often create a plan of execution and possibly generate an estimate of overall costs. Be prepared with all information about your concerns. This estimate may change at any time and most often after an in hands inspection. A non refundable retainer fee will be estimated and that must be paid before any work is to proceed.  I hold these funds and bill against them. Work stops when charges meet or exceed the retainer. Minimum non refundable replenish-able retainer is $250.00 required for second contact.

Video Services in House: Minimum charge for first hour or any portion there of is $200.00US. If any portion of next hour is used the rate is $125.00US per hour billed in full hour increments. Live streaming internet video of lab and works areas add $50 per hour to above rates. Phone hookup add $25.00 per hour plus phone rates additional to above rates.

Audio Web and Print Services In House: Minimum charge for first hour or any portion there of is $95.00US. If any portion of next hour is used the rate is $95.00US per hour billed in full hour increments. Live streaming internet video of lab and works areas add $50 per hour to above rates. Phone hookup add $25.00 per hour plus phone rates additional to above rates.

Deposition or Court Appearances: Minimum charge for first hour or any portion there of is $200.00US. If any portion of next hour is used to testify the rate is $125.00US per hour billed in full hour increments. Stand by rate after first hour minimum is $50.00US per hour billed in full hour increments for any portion of next hour used.

Consulting, Courtroom & Dep. Preparations: Preparations, meetings, phone conversations, consultations, but not limited to such, minimum charge for first hour or any portion there of is $125.00US. If any portion of next hour is used the rate is $125.00US per hour billed in full hour increments. Designation as an expert requires minimum non refundable replenish-able retainer of $250.00US.

Mileage Inside 60 Mile Radius: $3.00US per mile I drive from 28533 Greenfield, Southfield, MI 48076 within a 60 mile radius for all miles.

Traveling Outside 60 Mile Radius: Add to above, first hour free but if any portion of next hour is used the rate is $15.00US per hour billed in full hour increments limited to a maximum 8 (Eight) hours travel charged per day plus per diem added to the mileage charges. Items such as but not limited to: Cab Fare, Air Travel, Parking, Hotel, Food, Etc. will be additionally billed at cost.
Detroit Metro Airport: $65.00US travel to and from, plus $14.00US parking per day, plus above and air fares..

Other Services: I have many and can provide all courtroom audio video presentation services. These will be covered on an “as needed” basis and per quote basis.
Cancellation: Notice of cancellation for any service must be received 36 hours prior to the time date of service event. Otherwise a minimum of the first hour charges and all related costs will be billed.
Note: I refuse the right of any prospect to name me to the court or opposing party as a witness in any case until I am retained. If I discover otherwise, I reserve the right to contact the judge directly to report “a fraud upon the court” contrary to the interests of justice, and to invite the judge to impose sanctions. I also reserve the right to testify for opposing counsel about the fraud, having no conflict of interest, since I was never retained by the defrauder. Payment of advance retainer and/or designation as an expert constitutes acceptance of this fee agreement and is fully earned-when retained-and not an estimate of the work to be performed irrespective of any awards, settlements or discontinuance of the subject litigation. Prices and terms subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to withdraw at any point and time for any reason.
